The fruiting body is the mushroom itself — the cap and stem, the mature, visible part that contains the active compounds. Many extracts on the market are produced from mycelium grown on cereals: the substrate (rice, oats) is harvested and ground up with the mycelium, which dilutes the extract with starch. Our MYCONOVA extracts are derived exclusively from the fruiting body, with no mycelium or residual substrate, and are standardised for beta-glucans — the marker used to verify the actual concentration. It is this content that is stated on each label.
The vast majority of our products are vegan: plant-based capsules (HPMC), containing no animal gelatine. The only exceptions are Collagen and Collagen Forte, which are of bovine origin — this is stated on their product pages. The «Vegan» filter in the catalogue allows you to view only the relevant products.
As regards allergens, our products are gluten-free, lactose-free and GMO-free. The full list of ingredients and any potential traces are listed on each product page: if you have a severe allergy, please check this before placing your order or contact us.
