Chaga (Inonotus obliquus) is a fungus that grows on birch trees in the cold forests of the northern hemisphere. Our extract is derived 100 % from the fruiting body, which is harvested and then processed to concentrate its polysaccharides.
300 mg of Chaga extract standardised to 30 % of beta-glucans, in a vegetable capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose), with an anti-caking agent (magnesium salts of fatty acids). Nothing else.
Chaga does indeed achieve very high ORAC values in laboratory tests. However, ORAC measures a reaction in a test tube, not an effect within the body: health authorities do not recognise it as an indicator of health benefits, and no antioxidant claims are permitted for Chaga. We therefore do not base our marketing communications on this.
One capsule a day with a large glass of water, ideally with a meal. The bottle of 90 capsules is a three-month supply. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. A food supplement is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of reach of young children.
